I had a brand new phone line put in a year ago with an Ex-directory number (I only wanted it for the Internet,really)
3 months later someone rang me up and asked if I would mind if they sent me details of their phone service. I said OK, but I'm not committing myself to anything!

I'd only been on BT for a couple of months,and despite my "shouting and bawling" I do tend to be a bit of an "Officer and Gentleman" so I wouldn't have dumped BT within such a short time!

I have a windows XP i think and so i usually keep my computer on safe mode because it has viruses and it was fine until i spilled coke on my keyboard. things started going crazy and i couldnt even log on to my computer, so i got my uncle to come and give me another keyboard. Hello,

I am using a Windows 2000 Server to act as a router for my home network using Microsoft RRAS NAT. The server has two NIC's, one connected to my ISP, and one connected to my LAN. It also has Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and is a web server. The problem is, my external internet connection periodically stops working for the server and all clients, all the internal services work, but external access completely stops (Including the website and pinging external servers). I find when I restart the network card connected to my LAN, everything goes back to normal for a while, and than the proccess repeats as I described before.

I would apprieciate your assistance on resolving this very much!

I've identified a toll free number (1-800-7x4-8x37) that I want to buy. The number is not currently in use, so I'm trying to figure out who owns it or how to buy it. I'm not interested in renting or leasing, but I can't find anyone who offers those options for this phone number either.

If I call the phone number I get a message that says "sorry, the number you dialed is invalid, please check the area code dialed or call directory assistance in the city you wish to reach."

If I look up the phone number using "reverse phone lookup" services like Reverse Phone Detective (http://www.reversephonedetective.com/) or AnyWho (http://www.anywho.com), I get nothing. I even paid Intelius (http://www.intelius.com/) $14.95 to investigate the phone number, and they refunded my money because they couldn't come up with anything.

There are a lot of cell phone lookup services out there. But this is not a cell phone number - it's a toll free (800) number. Are there any services that can help?
I'm being told that I can't "own" a toll free number - I can only pay a monthly fee to use it. So, if that's the only option, that's fine. But it seems no service providers are able to rent me the specific number I want (800-7x4-8x37). I've tried over a dozen toll free number providers, and none of them have this number. I am trying to CHMOD my formmail script to 711 (tried 755 also) so I can execute it. I have tried several ftp's and several files but I get this error:

I am trying to configure SSRS, and everything goes smoothly until the very end. When the setup is tested via Report Manager and Report Server on the localhost server where the databases are installed, the data sources and models display fine on the Home page for Report Manager... but when trying to access this same page from a different machine, only the very top part of the page appears. The users are not able to view the 'toolbar' nor can they see the Models and Datasources folders.

I've come across and resolved a LOT of issues with the configuration- that include everything from not putting any underscores in the Virtual Directory names to avoid XML issues to setting permissions on folders in the Windows directories... and I believe this may be a security issue as well. Does anyone know a way around this?

Resolved Question: Cant install itunes... error mesg!?

I installed itunes before on my laptop but when i came to install it on my pc its kept on saying "Apple Mobile Device could not be installed. Verify that you have sufficient privilages to install system services" then it asks me Retry/Abort/Ignore.. i chose Retry more than once and it dosent work. So i clicked on Ignore...It continues installing for a while then says "Error writing to file H:/Itunes/MozillaPlugins/npitunes.dll. Verify That you have access to that directory." when i click on retry it dosent work and when i click cancel it closes the installation... What should i do?

I looked at someone who asked the same qs and the answer was "right click on the downloaded file and click run as administrator" that didnt work for him and nither did it work for me. :-(

Resolved Question: How do I deactivate Adobe CS3 from computers I don't have anymore?

I had a computer and it crashed and I was using Adobe's CS2. I bought CS3 and a Dell and installed CS3 on the new Dell, but had to send it back (it was too small and couldn't take normal expansion cards) so I formatted it first, then sent it back.

I got a different Dell machine, but it had motherboard errors, so I sent it back, too, but not before installing it and then formatting before sending back.

I'm now working off my laptop and tried just to install it here, but now it won't activate because I've already activated it on 2 other machines and need to deactivate it from them... I didn't know this going into the situation and have no way to deactivate them from the other machines... I'm running CS3 as a trail on my laptop and am a bit upset... I can contact support/customer service, but only if I pay.

Is there a way to deactivate CS3 within Adobe's directory for the other 2 machines and start over fresh?
